A natural, organic facial exfoliator to resurface and renew your skin.
Skinfoliate is an incredibly effective daily chemical exfoliator that uses a combination of natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) and Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs) with Bromelain enzymes to slough away dead skin cells and leave your skin smooth, soft and glowing.
This blend of skin-safe acids - including malic acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid and citric acid - help to maintain your skin’s natural barrier and acid mantle. They also help to keep your pores clear and free from blackheads and breakouts.
Regular exfoliation also supports skin renewal whilst stimulating your skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin, both of which are essential for radiant, smoother skin.

Why should you exfoliate your skin?
If you don’t already exfoliate your skin, adding this step into your skincare routine could be the key to smooth, glowing skin. For the uninitiated, exfoliating is the process of removing dead skin cells and flaky, dry skin from the surface of your skin, revealing fresh, new skin underneath.
If you don’t exfoliate regularly, these dead skill cells can build up and clog your pores, or leave you with dull, dry skin.
Exfoliating can also help your skin with collagen and elastin production, which is essential for plump, radiant skin. It also helps to support your skin’s elasticity and signs of ageing like fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin - along with hyperpigmentation, discolouration and dark patches.
You should add an exfoliant into your routine 2-3 times a week at first to keep your skin smooth and refreshed. Exfoliating your skin too often can affect your skin barrier , so it’s important to keep it all in balance. Once your skin is more comfortable, Skinfoliate is gentle enough to use in your morning and evening routine. Take it slowly and take note of how your skin reacts to your routine.

Start by using Skinfoliate once or twice a week initially to see how it works with your skin and then build to using once a day after cleansing and before any nourishing products such as hyaluronic acid, moisturisers or oils.
To use it, simply drizzle a few drops onto a cotton wool pad and gently wipe over the surface of your face, neck and décolleté. The gentle, yet effective combination of AHAs and BHAs will get to work to resurface and rebalance your skin.

ALPHA HYDROXY ACIDS (AHA)
These penetrate just below the skin’s surface to exfoliate, stimulate collagen and regulate the acid mantle to the correct pH. This protects and rebalances your skin to optimum levels.
BETA HYDROXY ACIDS (BHA)
BHAs exfoliate, treat breakouts and decongest clogged or blocked pores. They penetrate more deeply than AH's and work deep within the pores, making it ideal for hormonal, oily or acne-prone skin.
LACTIC ACID (AHA)
Lactic acid comes from natural sources, such as corn and works to dissolve the 'glue' between cells on the skin surface, gently exfoliating and keeping skin soft and smooth. With daily use lactic acid can stimulate turnover of new skin cells to reveal renewed, smoother skin.
ORGANIC GLYCOLIC ACID (BHA)
Made from sugar cane, sugar maple, burdock and pineapple, glycolic acid works deeper below the surface of the skin triggering the 'wound heal' response. This stimulates cell turnover, evens skin tone and texture and strengthens the skins matrix keeping it plumped, smooth and firm.
CITRIC ACID (AHA)
Citric acid comes from lemons and works to reduce photo/sun damage whilst stimulating and encouraging collagen synthesis.
ORGANIC MALIC ACID AND TARTARIC ACID (AHA)
Made from apple cider vinegar and bilberries, these gentle AHAs unsticks the ‘glue’ between the dead skin cells that sit on the surface. It also helps to boost skin elasticity and brighten.
ORGANIC SALICYLIC ACID (BHA)
Made from white willow, salicylic acid penetrates deeply into the layers of the skin to release excess oil. It also acts as a decongestant, clearing blocked or clogged pores and works to regulate oily or acne-prone skin
and reduce the appearance of breakouts.

Love this! I’m on my second bottle and invested in the larger size. I’m retired and on a tight budget but this is absolutely worth it. The product is very gentle but really effective. I’ve tried lots of different exfoliators over the years that always left my skin dry and then took ages to recover. I’m really happy with ski foliage and will continue to repurchase.
Beautiful product, well worth paying the extra £10 to get the larger size. It really is so gentle and leaves my skin glowing without any stickiness, which I've experienced using previous brands. I am using it daily and have had absolutely no reaction or sensitivity. Will be a definite repurchase for me.
I have used an endless number of liquid exfoliators over the years & all do a nice job. Some sting my sensitive skin & others leave my skin feeling sticky. The only one I am never without is Skinfoliate & I love it. A little goes a long way & it neither stings, nor leaves my skin feeling sticky. My skin is left silky smooth glowing & healthy. 16yrs of steroid use does the skin no favours but daily use of Jane's nourishing cleanser, OO cream & night balm along with Skinfoliate, always after cleansing, means I get a lot of compliments on my skin! As for the fermented smell, I don't even notice it anymore!
I can't profess to really understand all the ins and outs of skincare but what I do know is that this Skinfoliate is very gentle and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean, what more can I ask for?!!
Skinfoliate is a quiet little product which, at first, feels like it not doing anything. But its kind gentle nature belies its power. I stopped using this for a while as I had an old product to use up. Never again, I really appreciate the benefits of Skinfoliate and so does my skin!
