For skin that needs nourishment, moisture and support with elasticity, Affirmative Face Oil is a blend of seven emollient superfood oils to protect and regenerate. It helps to boost collagen production, repair the skin and enhance the elasticity of your skin, which can reduce with age.
Rich in nutrients, whilst being lightweight and gentle on the skin, pair with our 'OO' Cream for firmer, moisturised and protected skin. The combination of oils creates a cocktail of vitamin A, natural fruit peptides and sea buckthorn to repair and renew the skin.
Affirmative Oil also helps to tone the skin and support the skin’s natural barrier and matrix for healthy, balanced skin - especially in menopausal or post-menopausal skin.

Why does skin lose collagen?
Collagen is a protein that’s a crucial element of your skin. It makes up around 70% of the skin’s protein and is responsible for giving your skin that bounce and plumpness that’s usually associated with healthy skin. As you get older, the body naturally produces less collagen - and this picks up pace during and after the menopause.
As skin starts to contain less collagen, you might notice sagging skin, jowls, loss of volume and skin that just doesn’t look or feel as firm. It might also start to feel dry or dull. These factors are all completely natural and part of the normal ageing process.
UV exposure, stress, smoking and genetics all play a part in the decline of collagen in the skin - so lifestyle is just as important as your skincare routine to support your skin’s natural collagen production and support your skin goals.

Apply a single pump of Affirmative Oil to the pads of your fingers, allow it to warm with your body temperature and press gently into the skin. Use as a daily moisturiser in the morning and evening. Use under 'OO' Cream for firmer, fully hydrated and totally protected skin.

I have three JS oils but this has to be my favourite. It’s like scaffolding for my post menopausal skin. Underestimate the small bottle at your peril as this is a real wee powerhouse. So easy but so essential to fit into my skincare regime.
These facial oils are such superior products! My skin has improved immeasurably them. I love using this oil at night: my skin looks (and feels) replenished from the inside out, and I relish using the oils in the day time too: they are such a pleasure to use, and so effective.
I utterly adore this facial oil: - well I love them all, tbh - the smell alone is uplifting, but it is powerfully regenerative. I used to wear so many layers of moisteriser in the past, not any more: just this oil and some OO cream - for beautiful skin. Wish I'd discovered Jane Scrivner years ago!
