Delivery and Returns



Every effort will be made to deliver your purchases in a way convenient to your needs. If none of the options below are preferable, please call to see if we can help further.  All standard orders will be despatched next working day and arrive within the 3 to 5 Working Day (as stipulated by the Post Office) window.  However all orders can be subject to delay in times of high order rates, awaiting stock and the postal service.

Deliveries can be made worldwide. If you have a question about delivery we will advise you if you call our customer services team in the UK on 0044 (0)1789 801044.

We will deliver the merchandise in accordance with the delivery option selected by you. Please view our delivery options for full details. Whenever referred to, working days exclude Saturday, Sunday and English bank holidays. Orders to one address may be delivered in one or more deliveries; however, you will incur only one delivery charge. If you have specified delivery to more than one address when placing your order, there is a separate charge for each destination address. Any delivery timescales are indicative only.

DELIVERY OPTIONS

JANE SCRIVNER is pleased to offer you a range of four delivery options for online orders:

UK STANDARD 3 to 5 working days service: FREE

UK NEXT WORKING DAY service: £7 (orders placed before noon on a working day will be guaranteed to be delivered on the next working day)

EUROPE STANDARD 10 to 14 working days: £8 by Post 

EUROPE COURIER 2 to 5 working days: £16

REST OF THE WORLD 10 to 14 days: £20 by Post

Our STANDARD delivery service is available for all addresses within the UK. Our EXPRESS delivery services are available for all UK mainland addresses excluding the Scottish Highlands. Please note that working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and English Bank holidays.

Orders to one address may be delivered in one or more deliveries. If you have specified delivery to more than one address when placing your order, please note that there is a separate charge for each destination address. Any delivery timescales are indicative only.

RETURNS POLICY

JANE SCRIVNER hopes that you will be delighted with your order. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied we are happy to offer a refund, exchange or replacement on all goods returned to us within 14 days of your receipt of goods, provided they are in their original, unopened and unused condition. We reserve the right to refuse exchange or refund if items are non-saleable.

Please email our customer services team at info@janescrivner.com to REGISTER YOUR RETURN ITEM(S) AND REASONS FOR RETURN. You will need to provide full details of your customer order number, which is provided in the documentation that arrives with your order.

Please return your package, preferably by recorded delivery (retaining your recorded delivery receipt as proof of postage), or making sure you receive a proof of posting slip.

All returned goods will be examined upon receipt, as for reasons of hygiene we are unable to offer refunds, replacements or exchanges on any opened or used goods. We will process your return as quickly as possible and will notify you by email once your refund, replacement or exchange has been processed. During busy periods, please allow a maximum of 30 working days for your refund, replacement or exchange to be processed.

Your payment for the goods will be refunded by JANE SCRIVNER as soon as possible by the original payment method, no later than 30 working days after we have received the goods. Please note that delivery charges are not refunded. In addition to our returns policy you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days from the date of receipt of the goods if you send us a notice of cancellation in writing and return the goods to us in their original, unopened and unused condition.

Where goods are delivered to a third party, you may also exercise this right if you are able to return the goods to us in their original, unopened and unused condition. Your statutory rights are not affected.
